Reflection #6 Technology Training

I was fortunate enough to be at my school during a teacher inservice day that was dedicated to technology training. The Lake Washington School District approved a program that encourages teacher to use more technology in their classrooms, namely interactive whiteboards. The teachers will receive a small stipend at the end of the school year if they show a lesson in which they use the whiteboard and activ vote to a IT person for the school district. This is just step one of a three step project to encourage teachers to experience, learn, and use the technology they already have in the classroom. I'm excited that my classroom is working toward using all the resources available to them.
