Reflection #4: Creating Websites

Well, I took Meghan's advise and began using FreeWebs to create a website. Well, 2 websites actually. I started an Importance of Being Earnest Website (which will probably be my technology project) and I am also making a Wedding Website for Rick and Me. Both have been a blast to work on (though honestly, I've worked on the wedding one a lot more) Here's the wedding one. Let me know what you think about it so far (or any thoughts to make it better!) Please be nice though, it's still largely under construction. The Earnest one is much less developed, and I'm fighting with how to structure it, but I'm sure it will come together soon. I've already spent hours and hours working on these (mostly the wedding one ;) They'll get cleaned up more later though.

I love your wedding website! It's super cute and a great resource for your guests. I wanted to do one, but never managed to find a template I liked enough. And now that I know how to make my own, I find I'm running out of time! So good work!

Martha, I took a quick look at your web sites -- even though you are using free software they are very professional looking! I am thinking that you will find this software valuable throughout your teaching years. And I am guessing that the software is easy enough to use that your students will be able to create their own pages without a lot of assistance.
