Assignment #3

So, I had practiced doing This Smartboard activited, but I accidentally
did  This one instead.  They both look exactly the same on the
Smartboard notebook. :( So, I guess I learned to make sure I know where
I'm going and what assignment I intend to present!

My activity covered the NET standard for students #4Critical Thinking,
Problem Solving, and Decision Making. Students learned about the
Thesaurus and find appropriate technology (online thesaurus as a
resource. Students also use standard #1 Creativity and Innovation. 
They applied their existing knowledge of the meaning of words to
understand synonyms and other words that mean the same thing. Through
the activities and work, student learned not only about synonyms but
also about technology.

My activity also uses NET standards for teachers #2 Design and Develop
Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments.  I could have passed
out old books to student and had them look up words and synonyms, but
instead I worked through interactive work and showing online technology
to present information to the class. NET #3 Model Digital-Age Work and
Learning.  Again, using new technology to show work, online thesaurus.
