Reflection #2: Observations in the Classroom
I did my first observation of a different teacher in my school on Friday. It was incredibly interesting to see how a different teacher incorporates technology into her classroom. They were starting a unit on world religions and just starting the new notes. After the notes, she used what she called eggs to give the class a pre-test of their knowledge of world religions. She could track the students answers in a grid (like when they ask the audience on who wants to be a Millionaire). I had so much fun playing along with the students, and they loved using it. She also used her interactive board to put things in order and write things again for her students. She also mentioned using turn it in with her students as well. It was great fun seeing technology in practice.
